How much food to order?

I am in charge of our sport team banquet and am LOST. We expect 250 people and the budget is tight. We cant afford to have it catered--I am ordering in pans of Spaghetti, Lasagna and Fettuccni from a fast food Italian place and pizzas from another place. The pasta pans all serve 8 and the pizza is 18 inch cut in 10 slices. If I have not enough or too much I will have not used the budget wisely and will have an upset board to answer to. This will be a self serve buffet and will also include green salad and breadsticks. How do I know how much pasta and pizza to order? Thanks!

This is not a hugely difficult plan, but please let me know what age kids and how many kids versus parents, this affects quantities hugely! Also, will there be alcohol for the adults? Will there be desserts?

Also, you could email me at ellenskitchen2017@gmail.com address to tell me the budget and details. There may be some good changes within the budget (for example, home-heated French bread is cheaper than the pizza crust bread sticks, if you have an oven available).

The problem with this menu for a self service buffet is, people will treat it all you can eat and take a lot, even though they leave some. This

Covered specifically in plan for 100 and the bbq and brisket pages- you want 6 gallons total, about 2 gallons potato salad and 1 1/2 of each of the others.
