How much meat and cheese will I need to purchase create enough platters to serve my guest? What meat and cheeses go well together?

It matters a lot what time the party is- they will eat much more after work compared to Sunday afternoon. Tell me more.

OK, so most people will not have eaten and some will come planning to not have to do more than snack later.

To reduce costs you may want to add fruit trays (see the fruit tray page) and classic relish trays or veggie trays (see the veggie tray page). If you don't add anything, expect to need about 1 pound cheese per 10 (some can be logs or spreads) and 14 pounds deli slices per 100. Also 8 pounds crackers or 9-10 pounds bread/small rolls per 100. If you do add other items, you can cut back about 10%.
