I am catering a 1st Communion for 55 confirmed guests. I'm guessing about 6 of them are kids.
I am including the menu they selected and the amount I was thinking. This is a midday approx. 3:30 event. Please let me know of any changes I should make.
Tossed salad 1 large catering pan
dinner rolls and butter 4 dozen
pasta 6 lbs 1 plain 5w/sauce
bulkie rolls for sandwiches 3 dozen
sausage pepper & onions 8-10 lbs
chicken wings 60
green beans 6-8 lbs

meatballs 70- depends on size, you need about 8 pounds, 2 quarts sauce
bulkie rolls for sandwiches 3 dozen-OK
sausage pepper & onions 8-10 lbs-OK
chicken wings 60- will run out- you need at least 2 pieces per person
green beans 6-8 lbs- 10-11 pounds
fruit kabobs- use the fruit tray page- fruit trays are easier to make, hold better and any leftovers are more usable.
