Cleaning the inside of the oven

I recently moved into a new house and the oven was dirty. I cleaned the inside of the oven with soft scrub bleach and then rinsed it with hot soap and water. Did I ruin my oven?

Don't know. Gas? Electric? Self-cleaning? Was there some reason for not using regular oven cleaner? Is the oven doing something funny?

It's electric, I didn't have oven cleaner when I was cleaning it. I'm nervous to cook in the oven now.

All the chlorine will have evaporated off by now. If it is thoroughly rinsed and dry, turn it on and see what happenjs.
