planning a Birthday party
We are planning a birthday party of around 50 adults and 20 kids under 10. We are having Mexican Carnitas, beans, rice, tortillas, meatballs, chicken wings, macaroni salad, veggie tray, 7 layer taco dip/chips. How much of each do I buy and do I buy more of the carnitas and less of the meatballs and chicken?
This is the approximate equivalent of 60 adults, which means 2/3 of the amount needed for 100 is plenty for any item.

Mexican Carnitas, 22 pounds raw beef
beans, 5 pounds dry
rice, 5 pounds dry
need about 5 pounds of shredded lettuce and 3-4 quarts pico de gallo
tortillas, about 120
meatballs, 1 pound per 6
chicken wings, 4-6 per person (people eat a lot, if they are not too spicy)
macaroni salad, 3 1/2-4 pounds dry pasta
veggie tray, I would do fruit tray instead, see fruit tray page
7 layer taco dip/ 1/4 cup per person
chips, corn, 6 pounds.
