brunch for 150
Hi Ellen,
I am having 150 people for brunch for my daughter's bat mitzvah. Just under half of them are kids. I want to have lox (grams), tuna and egg salad (kilos), bagels (#), cream cheese (kilos), fruit platter (how much), babaganoush and houmous (how much) and i would like to order 2 pastas as a side dish too and ceasar salad. Can you tell me how much i should order of everything?

OK, I don't do metric, so you will have to traslate.

lox (grams), 3 ounces per person
tuna and egg salad (kilos), 1/4 cup each per person
bagels (#), 1 1/2 whole per person (you will have some left)
cream cheese (kilos), 3 ounces per person
get some good jams/preserves, also
fruit platter (how much), use the fruit tray page, do 1 1/2 times the deluxe tray for 100
babaganoush and houmous 1/4 cup each per person
Suggest you add good black olives
Suggest you add pita or pita chips, 1 ounce per person

2 pastas as a side dish- you need a total of 15 9x13 dishes, about 35 quarts, no advice on how to divide

caesar salad- plan for 100 table, 1 1/2 times the amount
