I am feeding the less fortunate for the holiday and expects approximately 200 people. My menu is turkey, dressing, mac and cheese, potato salad, green beans, yams, water and punch. I will use the #10 cans for the yams and green beans. How many large pans of mac and cheese, dressing, potato salad and yams will I need. How many cans of cranberry sauce. I figured that I would need approximately 10 turkeys (?). Please help!!

Loretha all this is covered in detail in the planning and shopping article in the holiday cooking section at the top of big pots. You want at least 160 pounds of whole turkeys. Use 35 pounds of potatoes per 100 for the salad; if you were doing mashed, you would use more.
If you want to post your estimate, I will be gald to check it.
The most important thing for you and your other volunteers to read is the article on hospitality inthe same section.
