HI, I've read it's possible to cook a defrosted tb in a crock. Im wondering if anyone has done it? My concerns are the tb may touch the sides of the crock and may fill the crock more than 2/3rds full. Is this safe? thanks

Yes it is safe, leaves it very moist, no problem with the size unless it is very, very large. I turn mine upside down.
