Used above top of stove, ucovered to make batch of rhubarb jam. Now big black burn on bottom (jam OK). Tried heating soda, vinegar, sand, over cleaner. Nothing helps. Any ideas. Antique.

Soak it in dishwasher soap plus hot water mixture...let sit overnight...scrub with scruby sponge...works like magic
