I am coordinating a potluck at work for a team of over 70 people. I need an idea of how many items to ask for. Preferably broken up with the categories of:
Appetizer
Salad
Maindish
Desserts
Beverages

10 dessert for 8 or 12 dessert for 6 with small plates
12 main dish for 6 or 18 main dish for 4 (smaller if budgets are tight)
2 vegetarian main dishes for 8
12 salad for 6
12 appetizers, specialty side dishes and relishes for 6-8
10 beverages for 8 with cups
4 20 pounds ice in chest
4 heavy dinner plates for 20 with plastic flatware

how many servings does a 2" ( 2 foil pans ) buffet set hold. making beef stroganoff and chx picatta, meatballs and sausage and peppers hoping to feed 50 also have rice pilaf and a chicken penne alfredo

The full 2" pan serves about 7 quarts, 28 1 cup servings. The half pan is only about 3 to 3 1/2 quarts. It is not clear how much you are making.

Potluck for 50
I had planned to make a full 2' pan or actually 2full 1/2 pans of the beef chx meatballs and alfredo dish. there will be salad and a couple sides as well.. Thanks

A full pan of each, you will have plenty for all plus leftovers.
