Accidently used stainless steel cleaner on a ceramic glass cookware top. Will it harm the ceramic top? Cleaned it twice with ceramic top cleaner after mistake. Please advise.

If it did not cloud the top or change its appearance, you are home free, as long as you got it all off. It is a great degreaser.

WARNING: The new (< 1 year) Kenmore Elite cooktop I have uses an infrared touchpad instead of capacative. The quartz halogen bulbs in the vent hood above it actually interferes with the Ir touchpad. It causes the burners to either change settings or lock up the keypad where I have to reset the circuit breaker. Can't use incandesant bulbs as they will blow with the steam hitting them. It took a lot of complaining and several maintenance calls but Sears finally acknowledged the problem and has authorised me to swap out the cooktop for one with knobs.
