We are selling Nachos at a school event and need enough sauce and tortilla chips to serve 300. How many cans of cheese and bags of tortilla chips do I need? I'll be purchasing the cheese and chips at Smart and Final.

Assuming these are the simple chips and cheese sauce with chopped jalapenos on top, per 100 servings:
9 pounds tortilla chips (20 chips per serving)
1 gallon jalapenos, canned, chopped
3 cups jalapeno juice mixed with
6 quarts (about 14 pounds) canned cheese sauce
Put 2 ounces (1/4 cup)of sauce on the chips, sprinkle on 2 teaspoons chopped jalapenos.
