have new Fridgidaire cook top how do you get the burned-on spots off, Razor blade ? Solution that came with the cook-top does not dissolve the burned places. HELP !

Welcome to the world of smooth tops. Your question is answered several times in the other cooktop threads. Just be sure NOT to use the dirty burner again till it is clean; the more you heat it, the tougher it gets to clean.
