Stove top stuffing
I want to make several boxes of stuffing mix the day before TG and refrigerate the prepared stuffing in a Crock. I want to use the Crock Pot to heat the stuffing on TG. How long and at what setting? Is this an OK way to do this?
Some folks do raw eggs in their stuffing, and I would not do this if I were holding before baking.

The crock is too deep to safely chill the stuffing. Put it in Ziplock bags, the layers should be 2 inches thick or less.

Much safer to bake in the oven and then keep warm in the crock.

Use real chicken or turkey broth for the stuffong. Saute the onions and celery in butter before adding. Add some sage, Italian seasoning. or poultry seasoning.
