6 Ft Sandwich

This is a suggestion for making a 6 ft sandwich.I was thinking of having a 6 ft sandwich for a party and called a bakery to see how much the bread would be.The bakery said they no longer bake 6 ft breads, they suggested buying several baguettes making the sandwich and slicing into serving pieces then push together like a whole sandwich.I think this is a great idea,it's more affordable and much easier to handle. You'll need to slice the sandwich anyway. After slicing sandwich place on long sheet of foil.

If you want a big sandwich, you would use the French loaves rather than the skinnier baguettes. 6 feet with the big loaves feens about 25; with the thinnest baguettes, only about 10.
