ELLEN'S KITCHEN
Hot Dog & Hamburger BBQ for 200 people
Vella
09/27/10
We need some suggestions for a BBQ which we are planning for 200 people. Ages range from small children, teenagers, and adults. Our menu is:
150 foot long hotdogs & buns
100 Hamburgers & buns
50 Lbs of potatoes for potato salads
40 lbs of pasta for pasta salads
15 pounds tossed salad mix for the green salads

We are not sure how much we need for the condiments: mustard, mayo, ketchup, onions, lettuce (for the hamburgers), or pickle relish. We have decided not to have cheese.

Hot Dog & Hamburger BBQ for 200 people
This is much less food than I would plan for 200 people. unless half are small children.

150 foot long hotdogs & buns-OK
100 Hamburgers & buns- I would plan for 200
50 Lbs of potatoes for potato salads- I would do 65-70 pounds
40 lbs of pasta for pasta salads- I would do only 12-15 pounds dry
15 pounds tossed salad mix for the green salads-OK, but there won't be any left.

I would add either fruit trays or veggie trays.

Please see the condiments table on the sandwich page for condiments for 100, and do twice that amount.
