I accidentally put the food on for the first two hours at the warm setting on my crock pot, then 5 hours at low, will it be safe to eat?
If it was fresh out of the refrigerator when you put it in, and it is not eggs or poultry, you are OK. The principle for food safety is no more than 4 hours total between 40 and 140, including prep,cooking, serving/standing. So I would not let it sit out for several hours to serve...
