electric roaster pan liners

While catering a wedding over the weekend we used roaster pan liners in all of electric roasters,on about 5 of them the liner stuck to the pan and we had a hard time getting it off. DO you know anything about these or why they would do that?

Were these real roaster pan liners, or were they roaster bags you used as liners? The latter do melt.
The liners only tolerate heat up to about 375. If the roasters were turned higher, that would melt them.
To clean, turn them on the lowest possible heat and scrape carefully/gently with a razor blade or scraper. Most will get off. The pans can also be replaced.
