I am doing a wedding shower in the garden and would like to know how much chicken I should buy to make a chicken salad. This is the main dish served with summer vegies. Thank you.

On both the sandwich event page and the main plan for 100 page, there is a table on how much chicken salad you need for salads, sandwiches, and reception type events.

appetizers before meal
Hi I am preparing a meal for a southern ladies club (about 15 ladies). The meal will consist of baked chicken, dressing, macaroni & cheese, grape salad, & a rice medely. I will also be preparing appetizers before the meal. Can you make some appetizer suggestions? Thank you so much for your help

Sounds like the grandmother's Tuesday Club, though they would probably substitute scalloped summer squash or tomatoes for one of the starches. This is a fairly heavy meal, I would go light with the appetizers. They liked things like cheese straws, tiny quiches, and a deluxe fruit plate, which would be plenty before this meal.
