I need to prepare ham for 250 person buffet. I am not nor do I have a carver. What is the best way to serve it and how many pounds should I serve? There will also be a choice of a chicken entree mashed potatoes, tossed salad, and fruit salad.

It sounds like presliced ham or spiral sliced whole ham might be the way to go. With the chicken, you need to allow 4 ounces ready to eat per person, 5 ounces if they are heavy eaters or there are not several heavy sides, as there are not in this menu.
