How many pounds of meat should I get?
I am serving tenderloin at a party. I will also have meatballs, lasagna, salads, desserts, etc. How many people will 1 pound serve? And should I count kids and teenagers in that mix or will they mostly eat the lasagna? I don't want to run out but don't want to have a ton left over for the price it is costing me.
No, most teens I know love steak and other grilled beef and will take the lasagna as a side dish. I would not count on more than 3 people per pound.
