I'm cooking a school dinner for 250 people.

I not sure on the amount of green beans to prepare.

If canned, you need 5 #10 cans per 100, if frozen, 22 pounds per 100, if fresh, 25 pounds per 100. If canned, do check out my recipe in the holiday cooking section at the top of Big Pots, Ellen's Better Green Bean Casserole. It is really good. You would need 4 times the recipe.

hi,
You need to estimate how many are children and what ages, little kids eat little and teen eat up to double. You also need to use the lists to make an initial estimate and post it, then I will be glad to review and assist.

You need one piece of chicken and about 4 ounces of ready to eat ham, plus about 10% if it is self serve.

The dessert bar page tells all about quantities of desserts per 100.
