Cooking meatballs in roaster oven

Ellen...It's me...again...I just got an 18 qt oven roaster and wanted to fry meatballs in it...You know, the way you would in your home oven. Can I do that, or will it be a mess...

You can bake, not fry:
Preheat 20 minutes
Use the rack in the bottom of the oven to put the pan on
Use a roaster pan, that has the 2 layers with the perforated top, so the meatballs drain
Remove pan VERY CAREFULLY, using the rack handles. The bottom pan will be full of hot grease. There will be less grease if you use leaner hamburger- 85% or leaner.
