#10 cans

Hi;

I am making a meal for 80 guys and I like the green bean casserole you have on your website. Can you please explain what a number 10 can is? I can't find it at Costco or our grocery store. If you could tell me what weight is in the can, I can piece it together with other products. Please assist.

Lucky guys! A #10 can contains 12 1/2 cups of whatever it has.

Thanks..... I'll let you know if they are really lucky after it's all done.

Now one question- can I cook your green bean casserole ahead of time - and then put the french fried onions and almonds on before serving.... or can I do the whole thing ahead of time?

I have not done that. Everything is essentially cooked. You could mix and heat on top of the stove, layer into pans, put the topping on and run it under the broiler. Would that help?
