to feed 100 people at a dinner reception how much cheesy potatoes should i make? this will be in addition to pulled pork sandwiches, chips, baked beans, pasta salad, and fruit.

can I cook in a crock pot and for how long on either low or high

Yes, high for about 4 hours (2 on high, 2 on low)in the new slightly hotter slow cookers. May take a while longer if the mix was refrigerated overnight before cooking. Also, if you need to hold it longer, kick it to warm.
