Freezing pulled pork for 30 adults
Anne

I'll be cooking pulled pork for sandwiches for 33 adults ahead of time so that I can travel with it and bring it to a campground. Can I freeze the pulled pork? Should I freeze it without the barbeque sauce? How should I reheat it? Is 20 lbs. boneless pork butt enough for 33 adults (most are big eaters)?

It freezes very well in the sauce. If frozen in the seal-a-meal type boil in the bag bags, can can be thawed in the fridge and reheeated in boiling water in the bag. If reheated in regular oven or roaster, thaw 1-2 days in fridge vbefore reheating, have extra sauce to add if needed.
