how much oil and vinegar is used to make cole slaw for 500 poeple? What kind of oil and vinegar to use?

You need to read the slaw page, and then look at the recipe for South Carolina vinegar slaw. The amount of dressing in that recipe is good for about 2 pounds of cabbage, or 10 people. If making for 500, you could use the dressing for lexington slaw for 500, substituting vegetable oil for all or part of the ketchup. It needs some sugar!
