Strawberry short cake for 90

What is the best way to make the "cake" part of strawbery shortcake for 90 people and how many lbs of strawberries do I need?????
This is for a retirement village so small portions are given as they only eat small amounts.
Thanks for you help.

There are several different ways. The most common one is angel food cake slice or sponge cake basket, me personally I don't like that much. The second is a plain white or yellow cake cupcake split. The third is a real buttermilk-type biscuit sweet, this is my favorite- here is an off site link to this recipe with a picture:

A quart of strawberries (2 pounds) make 8 regular servings, so would make about 10 for you.
