I am having Christmas Eve for my family. Can I make the macaroni and potato salad on December 22 to be served Christmas Eve?

That's a bit early, especially for the pasta.I would boil the potatoes and the macaroni, hold them in the fridge in baggies as described in the lotsa pasta /spaghetti page for pasta, then mix up on the 24th or morning of the 25th.
