hamburg BBQ

Hamburg BBQ for 250 people, there will also be sandwich meat and 2 or 3 salads. It's a funeral luncheon, may be lots of young people as the deceased was just 19 yo. Varioius people are cooking it so should probably go by cooked volume.

A sad occasion. Since you will also have sandwich trays, allow 250 burgers plus rolls, don't forget to add bread or rolls for the sandwiches. On the sandwich event page, there is a comprehensive table for the condiments, lettuce, etc, per 100 persons. Salad amounts are at the top of the plan for 100 page.

How many pounds of hamburger do I need to serve approx. 35 people?
I am having a graduation party and I am making BBQ's, salads, and cake.
Please let me know.

For patties, allow 1 1/2 per person, for loose meat sandwiches, sloppy joes, for example, a recipe with 24 pounds per 100.

Arthur, I do not do the "from scratch" lists. Use the many tables on the site to prepare an estimate, post it, and I will be happy to check it for you.

See particularly the sandwich event page and the BBQ and brisket page. Also, is it patties or loose meat (sloppy joes, etc).

Hamburgers
I'm planning a graduation party for 20 people. We are grilling ground round, potato salad, ranch beans, chip & dip, & cake. I was plannin 2 burgers each. What is the pounds amount I need? I guess I'm having brain overload.>>

Congratulations Paula.

If you are planning 2 each, you can make 4 patties per pound (10 pounds). However, another option is to use the same of meat and make 3 patties per pound (larger patties), they look great and unless you are feeding all football players, you will have plenty- most of the girls will eat only 1. If you are feeding all football players, make 3 per pound and allow two of these larger patties.
